DPP, Day #19

My tiny Mininsky is six months old. Half a year. Oh my.

Wasn't it just a few days ago that she was peering curiously up at us from our sheltering arms? She was born a few hours ago, right?

First Look at Daddy

At her well-baby appointment this morning, the doctor and nurse commented on how alert and happy Harmony was. Those are probably the two words I'd use to describe her, too. The diagnosis is: healthy, slight eczema, developmentally ahead in most areas, and undersized. She is in the seventh percentile for height, and her weight is low also, but considering that Chris and I have always been small people, that's really not a surprise.

Almost all her pictures turn out fuzzy now because she doesn't stop moving! I have a feeling that crawling will be happening in the very near future. Harmony wiggles and rolls her way around the living room, getting frustrated at her limitations yet stubbornly trying again and again.

Still can't believe that the Bug has been with us for half a year. Happy half-birthday, dear girl.

I hope your daughter's eczema stays manageable. We had to deal with my son's head to toe eczema, which was healed mostly through diet changes and natural skin care, so we're grateful. If you feel like following along, I write a blog about eczema, allergies, and asthma.

Thank you!

Thank you so much for your comment, Jennifer! Harmony's eczema has become much more manageable. We've made some adjustments to help her skin stay clear, which have helped a lot. I'll check your blog out!
